Our Senior Project Manager, John Castle recently travelled all the way to Germany to participate in the Factory Acceptance Test of our SST custom-designed, high defence specification caterpillar generator sets.
As part of our collaboration with Sitzler/Defence in Exmouth, OFI re-designed and constructed 2.4MW Central Power Station comprising of six 400kW generators to power the Space Surveillance Telescope we have just completed in the North West.
As a result of the custom redesign, the power station will be more efficient and cost effective while still meeting stringent defence and telescope requirements and is on-track for completion at the end of the year.
We notice the trip also coincided with Oktoberfest… a lucky coincidence for John..?
